So you've been picking up bits of astrology here and there and now you're ready to start putting it together into a cohesive system? Then this video course is for you. In this workshop you'll learn Steven Forrest's time-tested and well-loved approach. You'll discover not only what the astrological symbols mean, but also how to put them together. Under Steven's expert practical guidance, you'll take the first steps towards the artful blending of the complex archetypal patterns found in the birth chart into a cohesive story that both you and your clients (or friends) can understand.

Steven introduces the 42 main puzzle pieces of the chart: the planets, the signs, the houses and the nodes. Then he teaches you how to start connecting them. What does it mean when the Ascendant is in Sagittarius? And what if Neptune is opposing that same Ascendant? Learn how to dance with the astrological language, which becomes more poetry than science once you've nailed down the nuts and bolts. Follow along as Steven guides you through the first steps in chart interpretation with easy-to-understand examples.

After all 42 pieces have been introduced, Steven presents the actual birth chart of a mystery man, putting the pieces together one-by-one, culminating in the complex symphony that is a life understood through the wonderful lens of the astrological system.

In Evolutionary Astrology, the focus is on the potentials described by the chart - both high and low. You learn what it looks like when the symbols are being actualized to their highest potential, and what it looks like when things have taken a turn in the other direction. Ultimately this system seeks to empower the user, whether that's you, your clients, or your friends. This workshop will give you the tools to take the first steps in that direction.

Senior Instructor Steven Forrest

Steven Forrest is one of the most well-known and accomplished astrologers on the planet. He received a B.A. in Religion in 1971 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and started his astrological practice shortly thereafter. In 1984, Bantam Books published his first book, The Inner Sky and the rest is history. The book has gone on to be an international bestseller and continues to enthrall audiences to this day.Since then Steven has rolled out many more astrology classics including The Changing Sky, Yesterday's Sky, The Book of Neptune, and The Night Speaks. Steven heads the largest astrological apprentice training program, teaching students in several countries. His teaching skill is stellar, and students return to the program year after year, even long after becoming professional astrologers and writers themselves.

Steven Forrest speaks about astrology with the reverence and humility of a master. He speaks to the higher intelligence in each of us, with an expectation of compassion, wisdom and respect that evoked in me the inspiration to "sit up straighter" as a counseling-astrologer-in-formation. Each discussion is carefully organized, making it easy to follow. His explanations of the meanings of each symbolic "bit" and how they relate to each other are evocative. My understanding was deepened and my sensitivity to nuance was heightened. I had not grasped the full intent of evolutionary interpretation until taking this course. Steven's presentation is compelling. Since taking this course, I'm able to see more clearly into the charts I'm studying. Applying Steven's approach to interpretation of the lunar nodes I'm finding the plausible theme of the karmic story of the last life, the attendant attitudinal obstacles likely carried over to this lifetime and the remedy. The readings I can do now are so much more helpful than I could achieve, previously. Steven Forrest, thank you so much for following your path with astrology over all these years, putting this material together and making it available in this format.
